If tomorrow never comes

There are so many people who feel entitled… Entitled to the job… the house… the car… the girl/the guy… the good things in life… living each day without regard for actions or impact… hurting other and being hurt along the way…

Living with the assumption that tomorrow will be better.  I will change tomorrow… I will do better tomorrow… I will forgive tomorrow… I will call them tomorrow… putting off what we can’t bring ourselves to handle today… right now… tomorrow will always be better than today.

If tomorrow never comes,  would the most important people in our life know how much we cared... how much we loved them... Would we have lived a selfish or selfless life... what would others remember?

If tomorrow never comes would words be left unsaid or actions left undone… would we beg for more time where there is none…

Our time on earth is not an entitlement given to us to satisfy our own selfish desires, but rather a gift given to us as nourishment to spread out in our lives with others… to nurture and cherish as we impact the world around us so that when tomorrow for each one of us comes to an end we will continue to live through our words... through memories we leave in the hearts and minds of others... through the impact we made for others to see... leaving behind much more than we came in with…

No one knows what tomorrow will bring... Tomorrow is not a promise or a guarantee... We are not entitled or owed... it's a blessing given to us...

For each tomorrow that we are given, we are given a hope... A hope that we can make things right... A hope that we can start again... A hope that our life will be blessed...

When in fact it's today that we are given to put all that we hope for into action... Use today to bring more blessings to your tomorrow... Someday tomorrow won't come, so make your today everything you hoped your tomorrow would be...

Love Them Anyways

There will always be people in our lives who set out to hurt us... learning how to look past our pain to love them anyways... releases us from harboring additional grief... it sets us free to continue to love them and others freely...

For those who have caused you pain......

Love them for the time they gave you...

Love them for the lessons they taught you...

Love them for the strength they've renewed in you...

It is because of them that you have learned to get up after every fall and move forward... never giving up...

Love them anyways
